The village of Vermosh is on the northernmost edge of Albania, just before the border of Montenegro. An authentic and traditional village, we have kept our way of life intact for generations. There is no better place to experience the local customs and traditions of Albanian highlanders. Our culture has a legacy of hospitality that dates back to when guesthouses received travelers who braved the mountain passes on foot or in caravan. We still take pride in the same hospitality today.

Reaching the village of Vermosh
To
reach this remote village, take the road from Shkoder to Vermosh. On
your way to Vermosh you will pass through the villages of Tamare and
Lepushe, where everyone will be willing to point you in the right
direction. There is no public transportation after Tamare, so we
reccommend car rental or arranging local transport through our affiliates in Tirana.
